The Westsound House is a 1940's vintage house about 100 feet from the water. We provide most everything you need for comfort, except your food and charcoal.

The kitchen is well equipped for cooking, including dishwasher, soaps and things you need.

The Outdoor fire pit, beach, kayaks and beautiful views are for use by any of our guests. The beach is wonderful to build a driftwood fort, or dig in the clam shells and sand. There's a ping pong table on the lawn, and bocce ball for fun seasonally. The spacious lawns are great for watching the Milky Way and satellites late at night.

There is Wi-Fi for those who have their laptop.
There is a phone with free local calls.
Bring a 1-800 calling card for long distance.
Your cell phone probably won't work here, or most of the island, due to mountains in the way. You can hike the mountain or drive around it to get cell reception...or be out of touch in nature.

Activities:: Nearby whale watching with Deer Harbor Charters, birdwatching, sailing, kayaking, boat rentals, and a great little cafe, golf, skateboard park, tennis courts, fitness center, massage spa, wonderful pottery studios, restaurants and bakery, and our divine Turtleback Mountain and Moran State Park with trails around lakes and waterfall
